Gladiator sandals, not only make you look like, well a gladiator, but they also make you look like you have absolutely no clue in the world!

If you didn't already know, these are UGLY!! You might as well wear crocs, or loafer's with socks like someone I know!

I know that it's pretty hard to go into any shoe store these days and not see these things. But use your brain, and resist the temptation to even look at these, let alone try them on, or even worse buy and wear them.

If you want to wear a fun sandal, i recommend a nice sandal with some hardware accent, or even some jeweled straps.

What's with all the Orange this week? Anne Hathaway is sporting the creamsicle look too!

We all know the saying, "All things are good in moderation". I guess Anne Hathaway missed the memo! She's TANOREXIC!

Tanorexia- a term often used to describe a condition in which a

person participates in excessive sun tanning methods (such as tanning beds, mystic tans, etc.) to achieve a darker skin complexion because they perceive themselves as unacceptably pale.

sorry to be the one to tell you Anne, but you're not tan, you're orange!

it looks like she went to a few too many tanning sessions. If she was going for the look of an oompa loompa she was successful.

you look like a giant creamsicle

I saw this girl this weekend wearing this "creamsicle" looking outfit (you know, those delicious orange popsicles with ice cream in the middle). only, this outfit is anything but delicious. seriously, both her skin tight pants and top are 2 different shades of orange. not to mention the "VPL"! (visible panty line)

This would fall under the category of "fashion felony"

How, does this happen you ask? well, let me tell you how. These types of fashion felonies occur when certain people don't know how to: one, wear things that fit, and two, they happen when people decide that its okay to walk out of the house looking like a creamsicle!

I'm sorry but this is as "poser" as you get.

Christian Audigier is the designer of the popular Ed Hardy brand. He along with "Don Ed Hardy" also known as "the Godfather of Tattoo's" created this line of shirts with tattoo sleeves sewn in.


it poses the question of.... when was it considered "posh" or "chic" to have tattoo's all over your arms? especially for females. ummmm hold on..NEVER!


Audigier has several brands under his name including the extremely short lived "Von Dutch". remember the trucker hats that sold for over $60 each.

Don't get me wrong, i like Ed Hardy and own a few pieces, but i just don't like that no matter where i go i see it. Since it's debut in 2004, it has become saturated in almost every boutique or up-scale department store.

It's almost like it's not unique anymore. When everyone has something, it's not as desirable as it would be if no one had it. it's all about the demand for the product and all of the hype surrounding it.

If the loafer fits.....don't wear it

I was just thinking about a time when i saw someone wearing loafers with white tube socks (EWWWW, i know). anyway, when i saw this i was so disturbed that i couldn't get the words out to describe it. some women have such a problem when it comes to wearing cute shoes. they always seem to have a reason as to why they cant wear them. some common excuses are that "cute" heels are uncomfortable or the ever annoying one that "the heels are too high"
listen ladies, those excuses do not give you the right to wear your loafers with the chunky heel from 1999 with white tube socks!!! seriously? should i even have to tell you that?

there is no way to be fabulous in bad shoes (it's just a simple fact of life). these stiletto's would be a far better choice to pair with jeans. if you think these might be hard to walk in.... you're right. but, only at first. everyone who wears these had to learn to walk in them. (you had to learn to drive a car didn't you?)if you are looking for a cute pair, you can find some great comfortable heels at ALDO (i am a huge fan). it's a great store with just about any style shoe you could want, and another plus is that the prices are not bad.

What a CROC!!!

I know what you're probably thinking....The answer is No! This is not a new line of shoes for home depot employees. This person actually put these on by his own free will.

Yes, crocs might be cute for toddlers but not for grown men or women for that matter. I see this situation far too often, someone is trying to look "cute" by wearing the same shoes or clothes as children. Where does this logic come from? Is it cute to wear character underwear, bonne bell glitter lip gloss, or socks with ruffles around the top? I don’t think so!
Stop wearing these at once. Please do me a favor and save us all from getting that feeling when you are embarrassed for someone else.
If you're over the age of 6 there are some things you just shouldn't do, and wearing crocs is one of them.

Now the Crocs brand is even coming out with a cell phone holster for your hip, as if Crocs were cute in the first place, now they make it easy for you to show the world that you like to wear accessories that look like you got them with your tickets from Chuck E. Cheese.

If you want to be guilty of committing a fashion felony, then please by all means wear crocs. Consider this advice and insight to what others think when adults wear things that are intended for children.

7 reasons to lose those skinny jeans (but, hopefully you never bought them):

1. 99.9% of people can not pull them off!

2. no matter what size you are, they make you look heavy!

3. people who wear them, rock them with VANS or some other wretched shoe (need i say more?)

4. they make your feet look BIG because they don't cover any part of your shoes.

5. they look like you sprayed your jeans on. (in a bad way)

6. when you wear them, other people think to themselves. "YUCK, whoever invented those skinny jeans should be shot!!"

7. I don't think i need to mention this, but lastly, they are a complete FASHION DON'T!!!

What's with the Muffin Top?

FYI: Muffin's are for eating!! It is becoming far too normal to see women, and sometimes men sporting this unsightly look.
A "muffin top" generally occurs when an individuals waistband is far too low and far too tight. As a result of this their stomach and/or "love handles" spill over the sides.

As you can see....It's not the best of looks. So, Please if you find yourself to be guilty of rockin' "muffin top" please refer to the following tips:

*Change your Clothes!!! (the obvious choice)

* Attempt to cover up with a loose fitting top until you can get some pants that fit.

*Visit Stacy and Clinton for an Intervention.

when you're finished reading this, hurry and go get rid of all of your clothes that give you "muffin top". It's not a good look for anyone!!

Shocking News from the Top Chef Kitchen

I just finished watching yesterdays Top Chef episode that i DVR'd ......I might cry! Everyone's favorite chef, (if you know anything) Antonia was eliminated. She was by far the most talented chef on the show of the season.

I am too upset about it to elaborate!! but i will. I got hooked on this show because my best friend is OBSESSED with it. "top chef this, top chef that" so naturally i had to see what all the buzz was about. So i DVR'd all the episodes and got caught up. Only to find my favorite contestant, Antonia was eliminated. In Wednesday's episode the final four contestants came together in Puerto Rico where they each had to take a 40 pound pig, butcher it then use it to make traditional Puerto Rican dishes for a cocktail party attended by local chefs and VIP's.

Okay, okay i can admit Antonia's dishes were not the best. But, she has been the best chef through the entire competition and she did not deserve to go home. Do restaurants close down because they had one bad night or one dish that's not the best?? No. they close down if the had one bad year!

Needless to say i am a little disappointed in the outcome, but i will stick with Top Chef until its conclusion. it should be interesting to see what happens next.

Overstocked and Lovin' it!!!

I was never that big of a fan of online shopping until recently, I have shopped at overstock.com before, but not in the past few years.

For those of you who don't know, Overstock is an online department store
which buys excess merchandise from manufacturers and stores and sells it to the public and other retailers at a discounted price.

I was recently looking for a few gifts for my family and some friends that are impossible to shop for! (the athlete, the nephew, and the foodie)(you know those kind of people that have everything under the sun) Anyway, I must have searched on every website i know to try to find something but sadly couldn't find anything. That was until i remembered that i found some awesome things on overstock before. I not only found unique and perfect gifts for my family and friends, but also some presents for myself too!!

Sex and the City- a fashion don't!!!

I have to wonder if HBO and Warner Brother's had any rational thoughts when they signed off on the costumes for the Sex and the City Movie? Being a huge fan of the show, I (like so many people i know) went to see the heavily anticipated film which grossed $55.7 million its opening weekend. I was surprisingly disappointed in the choices of wardrobes, especially that of Carrie Bradshaw, (pictured right) who is known for her style.

When you have a movie born from a show that put Cosmopolitans and Manolo Blahniks on the map, it's just surprising to not use more main stream fashion pieces rather than "Runway Couture" . Maybe it's just me but with all the hype surrounding this film i would have liked to have seen more "real world" choices in the fashion department.

Please tell me what is on this dress (top right)...... Now correct me if I'm wrong but someone must have been smoking crack to ever let Sarah Jessica Parker put this on, let alone be filmed in it.

Don't even get me started on these three outfits.... In the one on the far left , She is in pajamas with a "chrome dome" hat on! It looks like she having an 80's nightmare.

Middle: Speaks for itself. can we say trash bag???
Right: I thought just the dress was bad, now they had to go ahead and make her look even more ridiculous with those shoes!!!!

Welcome to my blog!!! I have created a place where you can come to read my insights and wisdom about 3 F's (Fashion, Food and Fabulousity) and everything in between.

The idea for starting this blog came to me while shopping on a Sunday afternoon. I saw number of sad souls wearing what might be described by some as dreadful, seeing this sparked my interest. after turning to my friend and saying "You know... sometimes i think people don't own mirrors, i mean look at her, and him, and that one over there....". I then thought "Wouldn't it be a great idea to start a site like TLC's What not to Wear"? Where i could take Fashion emergencies and after stating their obvious issues, offer them suggestions to help fix their serious fashion problems.

I then realizied that this was the pretty much the best idea i have ever had, thus Fashion Fuzz was born.
